Held

Girl in a jacket

Recently I’ve watched a movie ‘Held’. A couple going for a vacation in an isolated place. Obviously, Hollywood has no other choice not to avoid a killing scene. Yes, it is happening. I’m not interested to explain the story, but one thing that is very interesting to understand that the theme is unique. One person is trying to control other person with the help of a secret organization. While watching this movie, I’ve understood one thing, that is, why a person wants to control someone in the name of love? It always leads to psychotic behavior. This movie, with many twists, is an interesting narration and explaining different levels of human relationships in a subtle manner. It is not always a cakewalk to understand other’s intentions unless we trained ourselves to be mind readers.

When we are analyzing the meaning of control, it is happening within the family in the name of love, taking fascist responsible on other’s life, “what the society thinks”, self-pride, economic reasons, and so on. In the movie ‘Held’, people are spilling blood when the control is taking over each other. If the relationship is not working, an educated society takes a different level in a legal way, but it is not working in the imbalanced minds of the conservative crowd. There is a hidden line that we couldn’t see which is going to create a disaster between relationships.
